Knowledge in different branches of chemistry (e.g. inorganic, organic, physical, and biochemistry) and basic computational skills and experience in pharmaceuticals, material science analysis will be considered.

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Preferably M.Sc. degree (Analytical Chemistry) / Ph.D. in Science
  • 4-9 years of experience in CRO, API (Pharmaceutical), Fine Chemical or related industry
    relevant Laboratory experience & knowledge in related analysis interpretation and well versed with modern laboratory equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab area and adopt potential responsibilities. Develop, troubleshoot and transfer analytical test methods, including raw materials, in-process and finished products, proactively provide new tests, methods and improve existing methods. Maintain equipment calibration and preventative maintenance. Optimize utilization of equipment and resources.
  • Assist in developing analytical methods to facilitate new product development. Independently perform routine and complex analysis using established analytical methods and development of analytical methods when no SOP or Method of Analysis (MOA) is in place. Lead the analytical aspects of a project while working with other functional areas to advance projects through the pipeline.
  • Perform routine assays and performance checks on instruments and tests that are being used for project support (e.g. HPLC, GC, NMR, 13C, IR, UV, SOR, KF, LOD, CHNS, ICP-MS, OES, DSC, TGA, Assays, and Titrations, etc) on an established deadline. Analytical tests-planning, conducting and reporting experiments, executing requirement of assays and draft reports, documenting all work processes according to recommended standards, writing SOPs and technical reports. Plan literature analysis, record observations, capture the scientific data in appropriate report format/PLN/report. Authoring, reviewing, and approving test methods, protocols, and technical reports. Complete assigned projects with agreed timelines, quality, quantity, and cost.
