Job Title: Supervisor – Lab

Grade: S2
Eligibility Criteria: BSc or MSc Chemistry with Diploma from IRI will be added advantage
Experience: 1 – 3 years’ experience of lab testing in a technical laboratory
Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)
Incumbent must have experience of tyre, rubber & polymer industry can also apply for the same position.. Should have knowledge of compound formulations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Financial
Product Specification Compliance
- To ensure that the product is made as per specification and reference sample.
- To check sole, insole, and strap mold dimensions from time to time.
Customer Oriented
Preparation of reports
To assist in the evaluation and preparation of the comparative report of compounds as well as finished products.
People Oriented
Documentation
To implement and maintain all
the records of ISO 9001-2000 and co-ordinate with all the department heads to complete all the records of ISO and verification from time to time.Internal Business Process
Quality Checking Process
- Cavity check and release of compound if it meets the standard. In case of deviation rectifying the compound.
- To check weights of raw material in mixing department and take necessary action in case of any deviation.
- To check process parameters from mixing to curing stage.
- To check green slab dimension of sheet & strap from time to time.
- To check the finished product at the cutting and packing stage.
- To assist in color development.
