Project Title sp3 C-H Bond Functionalization Assisted Synthesis of Novel Type I DNA
Topoisomerase (Top 1) Inhibitors as Anti-cancer Agents
Duration 36 months
Job Title: SRF (1 Post) Engagement Period (SRF)
For 01 Year and further extendable upto another two years based on performance and availability of funds and/or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
Salary As per CSIR norms
Eligibility Criteria:
M. Pharm or Equivalent (with specialization in Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry) / M.Sc. or equivalent (with specialization in Medicinal Chemistry/Organic/Pharmaceutical Chemistry) and at least 2 years of post-M.Sc. research/teaching experience as evidenced by published papers in standard refereed journals.
PG degree with 60% marks for GN/OBC (55% for SC/ST/PH) from UGC
recognized University/ Institute.
Age Limit: 32 years as on date interview (Relaxation upto 5 years in age is permissible for
SC/ST/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates as per Government
of India norms)
Job Profile For this
project, the candidate should be:a) Proficient in basic organic chemistry, green chemistry, and analytical
techniques.
b) Should be able to work on transition metal catalysis including but not limited to CH bond activation protocol.
c) should be able to work on invitro bio-assay techniques.
