Qualification: Ph.D. (4-6 years) or M.Sc. Organic Chemistry with more than 10 years of R&D/ PD experience in agrochemicals, specialty/ fine chemicals, CRO, and pharma
Job description and responsibilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern synthetic organic chemistry and process development is required.
- Performing Literature survey for the given projects using various chemical search engines such as SciFinder, Reaxys, MoleBase, etc.
- Will work with the RD Manager for planning and execution of projects that help achieve business goals.
- Designing and execution of various chemical reactions for process development and reaction optimization.
- Will be expected to own and lead a critical part of a project while exhibiting a strong safety culture.
- To analyze, compile and document process safety data.
- Generation of MSDS for Intermediates and Final product.
- Responsible for all project-related documents and reports, required for audits and handovers.
- Participating in collaborative lab discussions with colleagues for technical issues.
- Resource allocation, planning, and control.
- Providing training and presentation to other colleagues for knowledge sharing within the department
- Participating in various inter-department discussion and program
- Excellent team leader to coordinate with team members and other project-related teams to execute the work.
- Applicants should convey strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively in teams.
- Able to independently execute a select set of functional processes
- Consistently delights customers and finds innovative ways to improve delivery
