Job Title: Deputy Manager – Safety

Qualifications

Diploma/BTech in Chemical Engineering and Diploma in Industrial Safety from RLI.

Job Segment: Engineer, Electrical, Chemical Research, Chemical Engineer, Engineering, Automotive

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Handling EOHS ISO 14001 : 2015 and ISO 45001:2018 (system implementation,adherence,documentation,training & continual improvement)
  • To track and comply with various internal requirements such as periodic conduct of Safety meetings, internal audits, HIRA and ASPECT IMPACT Review, documentation updates, etc
  • To facilitate certificate/Recertification of various standards
  • Adhere to Legally applicable statutory requirements related to EOHS
  • Conduct Safety Audits in fuel yards, Gas banks, Shop floors & Test Track (MVDC)
  • Carry out Safety inspection & investigation of accidents
  • Conduct Workplace monitoring study
  • Conduct Training programs related to Occupational Health & Safety.

Experience
6 to 10 Years of Experience

Industry Preferred

Automotive manufacturing and R & D & Test Track

General Requirements

  • Should be a qualified Safety Officer possessing Diploma in Industrial Safety from Regional Labour Institute. Should be a Qualified Lead Auditor in EOHS ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001:2018
  • Should have attended training in conducting Safety inspection & Safety audits Should be trained in conduction Job safety analysis and developing SOP
  • Should be of electrical, Mechanical & Chemical Background Regional Labour Institute, Chennai
  • System adherence and hand-on experience in EOHS ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001: 2018 and its documentation.Should have hands-on experience in Hazard Identification & Risk analysis and Aspect Impact studies. To carry out workplace monitoring as per the standards.
  • To have experience in conducting safety audits as per ISO 14489 in shop floors, labs, and fuel yards.
  • To have a thorough knowledge of Industrial Laws and regulations related to Occupational Health & SafetyTo Carryout Site Safety audits and observe Unsafe acts & Conditions and take corrective & Preventive actions in Work Locations.
  • To have thorough and updated knowledge in Factory act 1948 and TamilNadu rules 1950
  • To have hands-on experience in monitoring test track activities.
