Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the front line, technical support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems and Chemical Engineering software from internal employees.
• Take ownership of technical issues from initial report to final resolution.
• Proactively monitor tickets including prioritizing, updating, escalating, transitioning, follow-up, and closing tickets to satisfy service level agreements and meet deadlines.
• Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent future problems.
• Record, track, and document all problems, including all actions taken, through to final resolution of the problem.
• Create and maintains technical documentation and create knowledge base articles as needed
•  Have past experience with the .NET Development Stack. Familiar with SDLC in an Agile environment.
  Position Requirements
• 4-year University degree in Chemical Engineering or related field strongly preferred.
• Some experience in Software and Application Support.
• Proven ability to explain complex, technical topics to non-technical users.
•  Exceptional customer service skills with colleagues and clients
•  Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment.
•  Some experience with the .NET development stack.
