Applications are invited from bright, young candidates with a good academic background to attend the online interview for the post of Junior research fellow position (No. of Post: One) as a part of the DRDO project entitled, Pressureless fabrication of carbon foam using bituminous coal for ablative applications”.

Period of Appointment The appointment will be initially for a period of six months and
based on performance, the appointment could be extended till the end of the project (3 years). The selected candidates will be eligible for Ph. D registration if they satisfy all the
criteria of IIT Hyderabad.
Remuneration As per DST norms (Revised)
INR 31000/- pm + HRA for first two years
INR 35000/- pm + HRA for the third year
Essential Qualifications
1. M.Sc in Chemistry and related areas (first-class) with a valid GATE score or
2. M.Tech in Ceramic Engineering, Powder Metallurgy, Materials Science and related areas
Age Limit 35 years
Desirable Experience in mechanical testing of ceramic/ metallic materials. Experience in handling various characterization tools
such as XRD, FTIR, Raman, etc.Note:
