Applications are invited for an Online-Interview for one (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in an SERB sponsored research project entitled “Tuning Metal Oxide Clusters for Selective Catalytic Hydrogenation of CO2 to Organic Acids using Quantum Chemical Methods” under the Principal Investigator Prof. Ramesh Ch. Deka,

Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate having NET/GATE.
Fellowship: 31,000/- (Rupees thirty-one thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for the 1st two years and 35,000/- (Rupees thirty-five thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for the 3rd year (SRF) as per rules.
Age: Candidates shall not be more than 28 years of age on the last date of receipt of application. The upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.
Duration: Three (03) years or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Shortlisted candidate(s) may appear before the Interview Board through google meet with all the original documents on the date notified by the Principal Investigator in the website of Tezpur University. Original documents of the candidate(s) will be verified by the Selection Committee.
Shortlisting criteria: Applicants have research experience/publication from their M.Sc. Project work will be given preference.
N.B.
(1) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
(2) Those in employment or doing a Ph.D. must submit a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the concerned employer / Ph.D. Supervisor.
