Job Title: RESEARCH ASSOCIATE, GLOBAL POWDER CENTER, BANGALORE, INDIA
Location: This job will be located at Novozymes Bengaluru Campus in India
To succeed you must hold:
- M.Sc/B.Tech in Chemical Sciences/Chemical Engineering with 2 or more years experience in Household care/Home care-related FMCG company
- Experience in the formulation and product evaluation (cleaning, sensory) of detergent powders, bars, and soaps
- Curious, self-driven, and a strong team player
- Strong experimental skills, with a talent to apply scientific findings to solve practical problems
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

The Global Powder Centre together with the account teams will be driving advanced detergent formulation projects and be the Centre of Excellence driven by Thought Leaders within the Powder and Bar detergent formulations. The Research Associate will be assisting in pre-formulations, prototyping, and product development with existing and new Bio-ingredients along with enzymes. The formulation development will involve end-to-end development via interfaces from academia to industry, lab to pilot plant formulations, product analytics vs competition, functional, and stable performance and consumer-relevant sensorial attributes.
