IISER TVM Vacancies Announced – Chemistry Project Associate
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. The Institute invites applications for the following positions on a contract basis:
Job Title: Project Assistant
Project Title: Computational studies on the mechanism and properties of the electrode-electrolyte interface in Li-ion and post Li-ion batteries
Funding agency DST-INSPIRE
Minimum Educational qualification
(as prescribed by the funding agency) MSc Chemistry graduated or result awaiting
Preference
Experience in working in computational chemistry projects employing packages such as Gaussian, Quantum Espresso, GROMACS etc.
Working knowledge with Linux
Knowledge in any of the programming language such as FORTRAN, C, python etc. (Optional) Willing to join within 2 weeks of receiving the offer letter
Salary: Rs. 25000+HRA
Tenure of the post 1st May 2021- 30st September 2021 (5 months and one of the posts may extendable based on the performance)
Age Preferably below 30
