They are looking to hire an abased in Senior Tea Process Executive based in Bangalore Unilever is setting up a separate entity for its Tea business to ensure it can best achieve its potential. Its tea brands, estates, and all geographies (other than India and Indonesia) will be part of the standalone entity – Tea Company.

Main Accountabilities

• Process Design
• Design of experiments for the intention of process design and upscaling.
  Hands-on bench-top/pilot/factory trials.
• Creation of process specification.
• Liaise with suppliers for identification and development of new Processes/Technologies
• Managing pilot plant activities and trials
• Should know about principles of mass transfer, heat transfer, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
• Should have a good grasp of data analysis and presentation with larger project context in mind.
• Should feel empowered to make recommendations based on ‘on the ground’ observations, judgment with a data-driven approach.

Key Skills/Experience/Education

Required –

• Bachelors/Masters degree in chemistry/chemical engineering/Pharmacy or equivalent
• Technical expertise in process design with a proven track record.
• Technical expertise in digital tools is an added advantage.
• 3-5 years Experience in process design/digital tools, Exposure to beverages preferred
• Well versed with the R&D functional excellence requirements for a process design role
• Well versed with the new process development process and its requirements
• Should be familiar with basic analytical tests and instrumentation
• Should be familiar with analytics and statistics.
• Should have experience of using formulation assessment tools like viscometer, rheometer, pH meter etc.
• Should be familiar with the role of Digital R&D in the organization.
• Ability to work in teams, good communication skills, good presentation skills
  Should be a team player willing to learn and work on new things within the foods and refreshments purview (such as short assignments on ketchup, Horlicks, coffee, etc.).

Desired –

Should be familiar with consumer testing of new products and consumer insights
Experience in clinical and claim support would be an added advantage
