- Analysis, design and development of organic synthesis of fluorescent dyes suitable for biological applications.
- Willing to work on bench for try storming of ideas. Modification and purification of dyes to be used for biological application.
- Evaluate and characterize thoroughly, the photo physical properties of dyes.
- Keep thorough records of experiments, analyze and present research results on meetings and in publications.
- Maintain scientific and industry awareness by reviewing literature, competitive IP filings, participating in meetings.
- Creates study plans in alignment with requirements of applicable standards and regulatory requirements and ensures the studies are conducted in agreement with approved plans
- Reports status of experiments to supervisor, trains and supports direct reports as needed
- Ensures strict adherence to the quality system elements and technical standards as applicable for reagent development
- Creates reports to summarize various development activities and supports in creation of work instructions to transfer the design to manufacturing
- Drives efforts in technology transfer related to conjugation/purification/analysis from discovery to process development
