Department Of Chemistry, School Of Natural Sciences At Shiv Nadar University, Invites Applications From Individuals Seeking Nominations For Ramalingaswami/ Ramanujan/ DBT-Wellcome Trust India Alliance Fellowships. The University invites applications from researchers seeking nominations for applying to DBT-funded Ramalingaswami Re-entry Fellowship, SERB-funded Ramanujan fellowship, DBT-Wellcome Trust India Alliance fellowship. If selected for the fellowship award, the School will provide necessary administrative and basic R&D infrastructural facilities for the fellowship duration; the rest of the terms will be as per the fellowship norms. The incumbent will also be eligible to apply for the regular faculty positions at SNU whenever those are advertised.

School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar University, invites applications from individuals seeking nominations for Ramalingaswami/ Ramanujan/ DBT-Wellcome Trust India Alliance Fellowships

Eligibility: Ph.D. in the relevant area, minimum 3 years post-doctoral experience, high-quality publications, and high academic credentials.

Candidates will be short-listed based on the merit of the research proposal, seminars and interactions with departmental faculty members. Short-listed candidates will be provided with a host-institution endorsement/sponsorship certificate.

The Department will support individuals with an excellent academic record to apply for

Ramanujan/ Ramalingaswami fellowships to carry out research in frontier areas of Chemical Biology, Materials Chemistry and Computational Chemistry. Preference will be given to applicants whose research interests complement and provide a new dimension to the Department’s ongoing research programs. Selected fellow(s) will carry out independent research, using the experimental and computational facilities available in the Department. The successful candidate is expected to maintain an active externally funded research program, teach courses and mentor graduate students jointly with regular faculty. 1. PDFs of your three most significant (not necessarily highest impact) publications, along with up to 100-word significance statement.

2. Research plan (up to 3 pages) including specific experimental/computation facilities and lab space required.

3. A statement of teaching interests that details what courses you would like to teach, any prior teaching experience, and any other relevant information.

4. Names and email addresses of at least three referees.
