Job Title: Trainee Research Associate/TRA

Educational Qualification M.Sc in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Pharmacy or related field or M. Pharma

Years of experience 0-1 year

Job Scope/ Purpose

• Excellent knowledge of basic organic chemistry.
• Good knowledge of naming reactions & functional group conversions.
• Good knowledge of molarity, normality, equivalency.
• Practical experience in thin-layer chromatography, column purification, and extraction.
• Good understanding of NMR, IR, and mass spectrometry.

Key Responsibilities

• Synthesis, purification, and characterization of chemical intermediates.
• Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery.
• Work collaboratively in a team to drive chemistry projects forward.

Behavioral and Soft Skills

• Interest to adopt, and appreciating for, laboratory safety procedures.
• Enthusiasm to work in a dynamic research environment.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS-word/Excel/Powerpoint)
• Good communication skills.
