Job Title: Research Scientist
Eligibility: M.Sc./PhD in Chemistry with specializing in Catalysis & vapour phase chemistry.
Experience: 3-4 years of experience OR PhD with 1-2 years’ industrial experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Undertake research activities particularly in the area of catalysis, development of materials, characterization by sophisticated physio-chemical techniques and evaluation of catalytic properties.
- Design & Development of catalysts and there use in development of catalytic processes for the synthesis of industrially important chemicals
- Use of design expert techniques (DOE) for parameter studies.
- Enable establishment of required facilities for the Catalysis lab at the R & D Centre.
- Coordinate research activities with internal and external customers and collaborative partners
- Procurement of key raw materials and catalysts or catalysts precursors.
- Follow all the safety aspects involved in handling chemicals.
- Follow the timelines to accomplish the assigned tasks.
