Job Title: Chemist
Location: Mumbai,IND
Key Responsibilities
- Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on chemistry related to semiconductor integration with a special focus on the development of surface chemistries.
- Develop internal chemistry capabilities and mentor junior chemists.
- Develop a deep understanding of structure-function relationships for the product chemical application. Supports customers in understanding details of a chemical process.
- Successfully transfer chemical processes to product groups.
Functional Knowledge
- Surface chemistry, electrochemistry, lasers, chemical-vapor deposition, organic synthetic chemistry, materials and surface characterization by advanced microscopy and spectroscopy
- Track record of success & several years of experience beyond MS, PhD in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry
- CVD/ALD process & gas chemical reaction experience would be an added advantage

- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
Leadership - May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/ or complexity

Education and Experience
MS/ PhD in physical chemistry with 4-5 years industry experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry
The chemist is expected to lead physical chemistry & integration projects:
- Define clear goals
- Set clear timelines and drive projects to success
- Own lab process development including tech transfer & scale up
- Actively participate in projects as an individual contributor
- Maintain high technical standards in the team by:
- Being up to date with latest developments in the relevant fields
- Coach and train, be available as a source of knowledge to the team
- Helping team members with careful experimentation, analysis and presentation of results
