IIT Ropar Chemistry Research Fellowship 2021 – Applications Invited
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following position to work on the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST funded CRG project (CRG/2020/000028) titled “Unique mild processes based on catalytic transfer hydrogenolysis/hydrogenation and photocatalysis for lignin valorization: Eliminating the use of high temperatures and non-renewable H2” under the supervision of Dr. Rajendra Srivastava, Chemistry Department, IIT Ropar. The position is purely temporary and is for three years (or Till completion of the project). The deserving candidate will be considered for PhD admission if the candidate meets all the institute requirements.
Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Position: 1
Duration: Total duration for three years (or Completion of the project).
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 (HRA @8% will be given if staying out of Campus)
Essential Qualifications: First Class (6.5 grades point out of 10) or 60% marks in Master or equivalent degree in Chemistry with qualified NET or GATE.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in the synthesis of heterogeneous catalysts and liquid phase reactors etc.
