SRM Chemistry Research Recruitment 2021 – Applications Invited
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow under DST-SERB Core Research Grant project CRG/2020/000885, at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chengalpet District, Tamil Nadu 603203, India.
Project Title: – “Design of Photosalient Molecular Crystals by Crystal Engineering Approach towards achieving Smart Actuator and Photoswitchable devices.”
Duration of the Project: 3 years
Discipline: Chemistry
Number of post: One, Junior Research Fellow
Eligibility for JRF: First class post-graduation degree in basic science (Preferably M.Sc. in Chemistry equivalent Degree with valid CSIR/NET/GATE Score. However, if no candidate is available with the necessary qualification, the selection committee reserves right to conduct a written exam followed by an interview in selecting a suitable JRF candidate. Candidates with prior experience on synthetic organic chemistry would get preference.
Fellowship for JRF: As per DST norms.
Age Limit: 28 years as on 31st January 2021
Registration for Ph.D.: Selected candidates should register for full time Ph.D. program at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu 603203, India.
Terms and Conditions: The post is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum period of Three Years. All original
