Job Title: Process Safety Engineer
Objective: To provide process safety support for research labs at Innovation campus, Navi Mumbai
Main Tasks:
- Performing Calorimetric experiments to qualify energy data. For example – DSC, ARSST, ARC, HF cal
- Providing process safety support for discovery and scale-up campaigns
- To ensure the maintenance and smooth running of process safety equipment’s to eliminate delays in data generation.
- Ensure transportation safety of chemical substances by adhering to internal guidelines
Proper and adequate reporting to all stakeholders
Problem solving: – the ability to analyze complex and diverse problem situations creatively leading to the generation and implementation of original solutions
Literature and database searching and the ability to collect, collate, and interpret complex information. Add on tasks/requirements for experienced candidates –
Familiar with thermodynamic & kinetic simulations related to reaction safety
Familiar with Gaseous and high-pressure reactions from a process safety perspective
Qualification
:- Postgraduate in chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Knowledge of process safety in relation to chemical reactions and kinetics
- Interpersonal skills for managing internal/ external project communication
