HFRI-ICFRE Project Fellow Recruitment – Applications Invited
Junior Project Fellow (01) for working at Leh (Ladakh) under an externally aided project implemented in this Institute. The position to be filled up will be purely on a temporary basis, co-terminus with the project. The temporary engagement is only project-related, and will in no way confer any entitlement for claiming a permanent post/appointment in the Institute.
Project Title: Conservation Status, Germplasm Collection and Resource Augmentation of Priority Medicinal Plants in the Cold Deserts of Ladakh.

Salary: {16,000/- per month + HRA (for 2 years) e 18,000/- per month + HRA
(wef. 3rd Year ) (Increased emoluments under revision)
Eligibility: MSc Chemistry
Desirable:
• Good experience of high altitude trekking/camping above 3500 m in the trans-Himalaya.
• Should have basic plant identification know-how of cold desert zones.
• Basic photography skills and also be comfortable in computer application. Ready to undertake extensive foot touring

original mark-sheets, certificates, experience certificates, etc. are required to be brought along with for verification on demand.- The interview through Video Conferencing/ Google Meet will be held on 11-12-2020 10:30 AM onwards. The number of temporary position of the project may vary depending upon the situation.
- The initial appointment will be for one year .
- Age in case of JPF should not exceed 28 years as on 01 st June of the year. Further, relaxation of 5 years in age to SC/ST/OBC/ Woman & physically handicapped candidates will be given as per approved rules.
