Department: Ayurveda Medical Education(Drugs Standardization Unit)

Name of Post: Research Officer (Chemistry)

Scale of Pay: ₹ 42,500 – 87,000/-

No. of vacancies: 02(Two)

Method of appointment: Direct Recruitment

Age limit: 18-46. Only candidates born between 02/01/1974 and 01/01/2002 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates. (for conditions regarding age relaxation please see Para 2 of the General Conditions)

Qualification:-
M.Sc. I or II Class in Chemistry / 5 years experience in research  inorganic Chemistry
OR PhD in Chemistry

Note: The experience required for the above post should be that acquired after
obtaining academic qualifications and the same should be from any one of the
following institutions.

1. Drug standardization units under Central Government / State Government.

2. Institutions run by Central or State government

3. C.S.I.R

4. I.C.M.R

5. Central Council for

Research in Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy.

6. Department of Chemistry, Biology and Botany of recognized Universities in
India.

7. Pharmacology Departments of the recognized Medical Colleges in India

NOTE :

1. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of the verification then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned.

2. In the case of difference in original Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in S.S.L.C book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette Notification in this regard, along with Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Community Certificate at the time of Certificate Verification.

3. Rule 10(a) (ii) of KS& SSR Part II is applicable.
