SAU Job Openings – Msc or m tech in chemistry or pharmaceuticals job opening 2020. Junior Research Fellow position vacant. Applications are invited for a position of JRF in a DBT-Twinning project entitled: “Study of Water-Soluble (C70- and C60-) Fullerene-Porphyrin Dyads as Inhibitors of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV): Synthesis, Characterization and Anti-HIV Activity” in the Dept. of Chemistry, Assam (Central) University, Silchar, Assam for a period of about two years from the commencement of the project.
This project is in collaboration with South Asian University (SAU), New Delhi and Saha Institution of Nuclear Physics (SINP), Kolkata.

Competent candidates are requested to send their applications along with their CV (with cover letter and self-attested photograph) to the PI at the e-mail address: [email protected] on or before the 16th of November, 2020. Shortlisted candidates will be notified for appearing in an online interview by the 17th of November, 2020, the link for attending the same will be sent by e-mail.
The online interview is scheduled on the 19th of November, 2020 at 11 am. Candidates who are extremely sincere, hardworking and committed to research will be given priority. The DBT norms
will be followed for the selection process.Essential qualification: M. Sc or M. tech in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology.
Emolument: JRF Rs.25,000/- + 10 % HRA applicable only if JRF/SRF is NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified, otherwise for Non-NET/non-GATE/etc., it shall be Rs 12,000/- + 10% HRA only. The mentioned emolument is subject to change according to the DBT up-gradation/norms.
