Required Skills:
- Must have knowledge of surfactant/surface chemistry.
- Must have Experience and knowledge of formulation equipment and general analytical equipment in developing Ag formulations with knowledge of pesticide formulations.
- Must have Experience and knowledge of pesticide formulation process, ingredients.
Keen in observation, and Ability to produce work product that is thorough and accurate - Possesses necessary technical job knowledge and applies it to identifying issues and resolving problems.
- Understands the targeted results he/she is accountable for and actively strives to achieve them.
- accountable for accomplishing work commitments and deliverables
- Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft office.
Role
To develop and test formulations in support of UPLs portfolio and new products
- Develop, test and compare formulations for new AI additions to the portfolio
- Improve current formulations, find innovative and novel ways to add value
Evaluate new AIs and/or raw materials in existing formulations - Manufacture samples for product chemistry, efficacy studies and field evaluation as needed
- Understand and implement federal and global mandated formulations changes.
Maintain records as required for daily experiments Manufacture sample formulations for product chemistry, efficacy studies and sample program as needed. - Schedule and assist with stability studies to support formulations
