South India Textile Research Association under BRNS announces job opening for chemistry candidates. Candidates with a PhD and MSc degree in chemistry may apply for the job opening for the post of a research assistant. Check out all the details on the same below:

Applications are invited from eligible motivated candidates for the post of Research Assistant, to work on the research project entitled “Development of breathable, reusable and oxo-biodegradable coverall using biocidal polyester”, sponsored by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) (Sanction order No. 54/14/09/2020BRNS/37082 dt. 08/09/2020) in the Textile chemistry and Coe Medical textiles divisions.

Job Title: Research Assistant

No. of Posts 1 (one)

Age Limit 32 years

Project Duration 18 (Eighteen) months

Salary:  Rs. 31,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Eligibility Criteria:

M. Sc/PhD (Chemistry / Polymer Qualification or B. Tech.(Textile Technology/Textile Chemistry) Research Preference would be given to candidates having relevant experience in the area of nanoparticles, coating of textile materials and/or other methods for treating polyester fibres.
