Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DST-SERB Funded Research Project
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the “DST SERB Research project entitled “Modeling the reaction energetics and kinetics of chemical
reactions involving species having high multireference character “ in the Department of Chemistry, MNIT Jaipur, Rajasthan.
The position is purely temporary and is available immediately for one year, which may be extended up to end of project based on the candidate’s performance.
Position: One
Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
Qualification: M.Sc. Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics or equivalent master degree with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale. Good knowledge of computer programming is desired. Candidates with valid NET (CSIR/UGC)/GATE qualification certificate may
be preferred.
Fellowship: 25,000-35,00 Rs/- pm (consolidated)
Duration: One year (Based on performance may be extended up to end of the project,)

1. A selection committee of MNIT Jaipur reserves all the right to fix suitable criteria for shortlisting the eligible candidates.
2. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on merit. The date and time of interview will be informed via email.
3. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates for attending the interview.
4. The selected candidates can opt for the Ph.D. program announced by MNIT (twice a year) in case they are interested in pursuing PhD at MNIT as per provision in the above research area after fulfilling the required criteria as per institute rules.
