Position Purpose
The role will be responsible to do process engineering for the process development team in lab scale, Kilo lab, pilot and scale-up activities.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Efficient contribution to the overall success of CreAgro Chemistry by driving innovation and team performance according to objectives and targets being set by the Director and Head of Chemistry.
- Fulfilling requirements as set by Group Leader and Team Leader within specific Research Projects
- Ensuring the security of intellectual property for CreAgro (patent applications)
Operational Responsibilities - Exposure on productivity improvement like yield and quality, time cycle reduction, new technologies
- Ability for making P&ID, PFD, Gantt.
- Good knowledge on technology transfer and process intensification
- Understanding on software like DynoChem, ASPEN for establishing the robust process
- Knowledge on material and energy balance
- Expertise in scale-up from lab to pilot plant and from pilot plant to plant
- To have experience in equipment design for new products
- Expertise on handling of toxic and pyrophoric chemicals at scale-up
- Exposure on BPR preparation, plant validation, documentation preparation for QA and QC
- Knowledge on safety studies e.g. HAZOP, RC and powder safety
- To ensure seamless and efficient scale-up of the process by working closely with the process research team
- Actively participate in problem-solving sessions/ training programs and drive coordination and communication within the team
- Ensure on-time delivery of the assigned project in terms of:
- On-time delivery with target yield and quality
- Waste minimization
- Smooth scale-up up to KL/PP
- Ensuring the safety & house keeping
- Inspire & motivate employees through demonstrated commitment to PI’s values, vision & mission and exemplifying effective leadership, initiative and persistence needed to accomplish goals and objectives
- Drive collaboration and cross-functional networking for the entire team
- Actively participate in problem-solving sessions/ training programs and drive coordination and communication within the team

- Subject knowledge
- Experience in process development and intensification
- Experience in handling reactors including cryoreactor
- Knowledge on process safety
- Documentation, report writing and familiar with MS office suite
- Data Management
- Good knowledge of data interpretation & analysis
