Job Title: Associate Research Scientist – Analytical-NMR
Level: E1/E2/E3/E4
Reporting to: TL/Sr. TL/Group Leader
Position Purpose
The incumbent should be an MSc in Analytical Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry from a reputed University in India. He should have at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in operating an NMR instrument. He should be good in the interpretation of 1H and 13C NMR spectra of small molecules. Knowledge and experimental skill in performing advanced NMR experiments like NOE, COSY, HSQC, HMBC and their interpretation will be an added advantage
Strategic Responsibilities
- Actively imbibing the values and philosophy of PI Industries
- Efficient contribution to the overall success of CreAgro Analytical Chemistry through scientific contribution and supporting team performance according to objectives and targets being set by the leadership team
- Fulfilling requirements and achieving goals set by the Team Leader and Group Leader – Analytical Chemistry
- Expected to assist the Team leader in day to day activities like sample preparation, recording of routine 1H NMR spectra, 13C NMR, report generation and the data management
- Learn advanced NMR experiments and interpretation of them
- He should take care of routine maintenance of the NMR instrument and cryogen filling
- He should shoulder at least one additional responsibility other than the NMR handling which is termed as Secondary responsibility
- Working as a team member, contribute to the team objective with special focus on achieving and exceeding the set target, development of individual & team strengths, the building of know-how, feedback and coaching team members
Operational Responsibilities
- Work within the team to achieve and exceed targets within the time frame given by the Team Leader and Group Leader – Analytical Chemistry
- Support the Team Leader – Analytical Chemistry in achieving overall team and department objectives
- Keep self updated on the state of the art In the field of NMR.Continuous documentation and reporting of all analytical results obtained within the area of responsibility
- Should have the good interpersonal skill and should be able to work in a multitasking environment
- Develop and foster positive relationships with other teams and support groups such as
- Chemistry and Biology to maximize cooperation and consequent benefit to objective delivery
- Comply to all safety requirements of the role
- Responsible for individual safety and housekeeping of the lab

Education Qualification
MSc/Organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry from a reputed University / Institute with excellent academic credentials.
