Job Title: Research Associate, Formulation lab/CEC, HHC, Bangalore
In this position, you need to have
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering with 1-3 years of related experience
- Basic formulation understanding of key technologies in-home care products like surfactant, builder, enzymes and polymers is required.
- Hands-on experience with industrial enzymes applications preferably in Household care industry will be an advantage
- Preferably have expertise in product testing (tergotometer, hand wash etc.), a new method or protocol development and handling basic lab instruments.
- Be creative, take initiative, learn fast, display result orientation and work with challenging deadlines
- Team player with strong analytical, communication and documentation skills

- You flourish in a fast-paced environment and are as comfortable with working in a team by coordinating with Scientists, Project Leaders on a day-to-day basis as you’re with working independently with attention to detail – interpreting data, performing analysis and presenting results – to guarantee the success of this project.

In this position, you will be responsible for
- Scientific Dimension – To generate technical insights for detergent formulations (all formats, ex. powder, liquid, bars) based on systematic and scientific investigation.
Creative Dimension- Contribute to building creative concepts and storylines for customer engagement within the experience centre and for teams at customer site through visualization of multiple datasets through graphical/ live demo messaging, video scripts, storyboard and narratives by sparring with the regional marketing teams - Executing lab trials with minimum supervision, shared by Scientists to translate technical insights to creative demos by systematic optimization, to aid in customer engagement.
Data handling and results from the laboratory trials, and reporting results or observations from the laboratory trials in agreement with the responsible Scientist. - Enable customer engagement via demo development- regionalization or customization of existing demos to EM conditions as well as creative demos.
- Develop digital demo-materials to facilitate customer engagements- optimization of parameters for a demo, record demo and edit demo videos.
- Collaborate with global and regional marketing to co-develop concepts or fact packs relevant for emerging markets.
- Deliver scientific narratives during customer interactions.
- Inventory management of raw materials, laboratory chemicals, detergents, stains, enzymes and demo materials.
