How To Apply:
Candidates fulfilling the above-mentioned qualification, age etc., may APPLY
ONLINE through website https://cecri.res.in/ which will be available from 04.08.2020 to
11.08.2020 (till 24:00 hours).All categories of applicants are required to submit an online
application along with all necessary required documents. Eligible candidates applying through online application on or before 11.08.2020 will be called for interview through Google Meets scheduled on various different dates as mentioned against each position. (Interview may continue on next working day depending upon the number of candidates)
General Instructions:
1. Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/PH/Women candidates up to 5 years and 3 years
for OBC for all the above positions as per GOI instructions.
2. Reservation: If all things are equal, SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates may be given preference over General candidates to ensure due representation.
3. If the candidate does not have a valid gmail id, he/she should create a gmail id before
applying online. Details regarding Interview through Google Meet will be sent to the
gmail id only.
4. Incomplete applications (ie. Without photograph and applicable certificates etc.) will not be entertained and will be summarily rejected.
5. CSIR-CECRI shall not be responsible if a candidate could not be interviewed online due to connectivity issues/ network error / low bandwidth at his/her end.
6. A number of positions required is indicative in nature, there may be an increase/decrease in the number based on the requirement.
7. The date of determining the qualification and age limit shall be 11.08.2020.
8. Final Semester/year students who are awaiting results are not eligible to be considered.
9. The selected candidate will be provided with either accommodation in the Institute campus or HRA.
10. The eligible/shortlisted candidates have to be available online on the date of an online
interview between 09.00 AM to 5.00 PM. They may be called at any time during the allotted
time period. (if any change is there, they will be intimated accordingly).
11. Eligible/shortlisted candidates shall attend the Online Interview through Google Meet.
12. If a large number of candidates apply, the Selection Committee shall adopt its own criteria and shortlist the candidates for an online interview in proportionate to the available vacancies.
13. The original documents including educational qualification, birth/SSLC certificate,
community and experience certificate, etc., in respect of selected candidate, will be verified
at the time of joining. Your joining in the project is subject to the verification of certificates.
14. The engagement is purely on a temporary basis, initially for a period of six months which may be extended or curtailed depending on the tenure of the project/satisfactory
performance or conduct of the appointee as the case may be and does not confer any
right/claim implicit or explicit on any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in
CSIR-CECRI.
15. If any selected candidate provides any false information, his/her candidature is liable to be rejected.
16. INTERIM QUERIES WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED. NO TA/DA WILL BE PAID FOR
APPEARING FOR THE INTERVIEW. THE DECISION OF THE DIRECTOR, CSIR-CECRI
REGARDING SELECTION WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING. Conditions for candidates coming from containment zone/ hotspot/other district/State
17. Selected candidates from containment zone/hotspot/other Districts/State shall be
quarantined for 14 days at Karaikudi before joining at CSIR-CECRI. Accommodation
facilities will be provided with the on-demand basis to candidates.
18. E-Pass, wherever required to be arranged by the candidates themselves. A letter from
CSIR-CECRI in this regard, if required, shall be provided on demand.
19. On completion of 14 days quarantine period, candidate(s) may obtain a medical certificate from Medical Officer, CSIR-CECRI Health Centre. Your joining in the project will be subject to production of medical fitness certificate provided by Medical Officer, CSIR-CECRI.
20. The selected candidates are advised to ensure that the Aarogya Setu App is installed in
their mobile phones while entering CSIR-CECRI campus.
