Project Title: “Evaluation of Textbooks in Science and Mathematics at Upper Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Stage (PAC Code 6.01)”

The Department of Education in Science and Mathematics (DESM) welcomes on-line
applications to recruit 12 Junior Project Fellows (JPFs) (8 Science & 4 Mathematics) under
the above-mentioned project. The appointment will be purely on a short-term basis. The terms and also conditions as well as various other requirements of the fellowship are as under:

Job Title: Junior Project Fellows (JPFs)

No. of Posts: 08

Tenure: Upto 31st March 2021 from the date of joining.

Age: Below 40 years as per UGC guidelines.

Essential Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Chemistry Education or in any associated discipline with minimal 55% Marks or equal for general category (50% marks or equivalent when it comes to SC/ST/PH).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Education.
  • Knowledge in Computer Applications.
  • National Eligibility Test (NET).

Note:

  • The fellowship is purely short-term.
  • The selected candidate will be needed to join immediately.
  • No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview or joining the post.
  • The candidates that have actually currently worked in the Council as JPF for two and a half years are not eligible for the post.

Remuneration: Consolidate remuneration @ Rs.25,000/- per month (NET qualified) or @
Rs.23,000/- per month (non-NET)

How to Apply:

Interested candidates may send their applications in attached prescribed format together with a soft copy of PG degree/mark-sheet, Date of birth Certificate/School Certificate having date of birth, SC/ST Certificate on the e-mail of the Department of Education in Science & Mathematics i.e. [email protected] till 27th, July 2020. No application will be accepted after the last date. Screening of applications will be done before the conduct of on-line interview as well as only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed online. The date and time of online interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates through email/phone as and when finalized.

  1. Its mentioned in the notification that “Interested candidates may send their applications in attached prescribed format”, but where is the attached prescribed format? it’s not there in the notification and on the NCERt website.
