Essential Qualification
(i) Master’s Degree in Chemistry with at least 50% marks from recognized University OR Post-graduate Diploma in Chemistry awarded by the University of Delhi OR M.Sc Degree in Bio-Chemistry from a recognized University after doing a minimum of 6 years study
after matriculation. AND
B.Ed. Degree or recognized Diploma in Education OR three years of experience of teaching Intermediate or higher classes OR
(ii) M.Sc.Ed. in Chemistry from Regional College of Education, NCERT with at least 50% marks
Desirable.
(i) CTET/ State TET qualified
(ii) Higher qualification in the respective subject
(iii) Experience of teaching in residential public school
(iv) Ability to teach through English Medium
(v) Proficiency in games as well as in co-curricular activities
(vi) Knowledge of Computer application
Pay as per 7 CPC: Pay Level 8 Rs. 47600/-
Age: Between 21 to 40 years as on 15 May 2020
Pay & Perks.
Other allowances as per Sainik Schools Society Rules & Regulations, subsidised education for two children and free messing for self except during vacations. Rent-free accommodation as available.

(i) Desirous candidates should apply to the Principal, Sainik School Satara, Satara-415 001, Maharashtra in the prescribed format available on school website www.sainiksatara.org.
(ii) In view of lockdown due to COVID-19, candidates may send their application (on prescribed format only) in soft copy to the school email – [email protected]
(iii) Eligible candidates will be called for written test, practical test/ class teaching demo and interview through email/SMS/post.
(iv) Candidates, at the time of reporting for written test, are to deposit A/c payee Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank of Rs.300/- for General and Rs.100/- for SC/ST (non-refundable) drawn in favour of “Principal, Sainik School Satara”, payable at satara’.
(v) Application along with relevant documents must reach Principal, Sainik School Satara, Satara-415 001, Maharashtra on or before 15 May 2020.
Terms and conditions.
(i) The post is transferable with All India transferability clause.
(ii) The School will not be responsible for postal delays.
(iii) Only Indian Nationals are to apply.
(iv) Candidates of SC/ST category should submit a copy of Caste Certificate along with application form.
(v) Incomplete applications shall be summarily rejected.
(vi) No TA/DA will be admissible for interview.
(vii) The school administration reserves the right to cancel the vacancy due to non-availability of suitable candidate/s or administrative or policy reasons.
