Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for the position of junior research fellow (JRF) in a SERB funded Research Project titled “Designing Polyanion solution based electrolytes with high lithium-ion transference number and conductivity for the Application in High Energy Density Lithium-Ion Batteries”
Objectives of the Project: The objective of the project is to design and develop high energy density lithium-ion batteries, capable of performing fast charging-discharging without significant capacity fading.
Eligibility Essential Qualification: Masters in Organic Chemistry with valid GATE/ NET score or M. Tech in materials science/solid-state physics.
Desirable: Candidates having exposure to materials science/ energy storage are encouraged to apply.
Fellowship: Rs. 31000+8% HRA
Duration: Initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable up to the duration of the project, solely based on performance.

passing, university or college, etc. and also work experience and nature of work if applicable. Complete details of NET/GATE such as year of passing/validity, discipline, marks, All India Rank and number of candidates appeared should be mentioned in the CV.Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated by e-mail informing date of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. The selected candidate will be eligible to pursue a Ph.D degree in Physics under the PhD course of the University of Kalyani.
