Applications are invited for the selection of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work for research project, under the Principal Investigator Dr.D.Dinesh Kumar, Scientist-C/Assistant Professor, Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, International Research Centre, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Jeppiaar Nagar, Rajiv Gandhi Road, Chennai – 600119.

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Title of the Project Investigation of High Temperature Oxidation Behavior of Super Alloys
and Stainless Steel for Strategic Applications.

Funding Agency & Scheme VSSC/ISRO-RESPOND.

Essential Qualifications
i. M.Sc., (Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science/ Nanotechnology). (or) M.E/M.Tech., (Mechanical/Metallurgy & Materials Science/Materials Science/Ceramic Technology/ Nanotechnology).
ii. Minimum of 60% marks in PG degree and GATE/ CSIR-UGC NET/National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and Agencies (DST/DBT/DAE/DOS/DRDO/MHRD/ ICAR/ICMR/IIT/IISc/IISER etc.).

Desirable Qualifications Candidates with strong knowledge on materials characterization will be preferred.

Emoluments Rs.31,000/ p.m.+ HRA (as per ISRO norms).

Duration 24 Months.

JRF position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project tenure. The JRF will be
encouraged to enrol for PhD at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology.
