NIPHM Chemistry Jobs – Senior Research Fellow Vacancy. Senior Research Fellow positions at NIPHM – National Institute of Plant Health Management. Walk-in-Interview will be held at 9.00 a.m. on the date mentioned below at National Institute of Plant Health Management, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad for engagement of following positions on contractual basis. The engagement will be initially for a period of six months/ one year/ till project period whichever is earlier.

Eligibility:

  • Master’s degree in relevant subject with 4 yrs. of bachelor degree (OR)
  • Candidates having Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences with relevant
    subject with 3 years Bachelor’s Degree and 2 Years Master’s Degree
    should have NET qualification

Subjects:

  • Agricultural Chemicals/ Agricultural Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/
    Analytical Chemistry/

Age: 35 years for Men & 40 years for Women

Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA as applicable for 1st and 2nd year.
Rs. 28,000/- per month + HRA as applicable for 3rd

year

Duties:

Senior Research Fellow (Pesticide Management Division)(for analysis of Bio-product samples)

  • Sample preparation
  • Volumetric and Colorimetric analysis
  • Sample analysis on analytical instruments such as Spectrophotometer: GC-FID, GC-ECD, HPLCPDA, HPLC-UV-VIS, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, GC-QTOF, LC-QTOF etc.
  • Analysis of bio-products and microbial bio-pesticide samples
  • Documentation and record keeping as laboratory quality management system
  • Preparation various reports and documents
  • Record keeping of environmental conditions
  • Timely completion of sample analysis and test reports
  • Maintenance of analytical instruments
  • Maintenance of chemicals and glassware as per the requirements for analysis and training
  •  Preparation of laboratory for practical sessions of various capacity building training programmes and conducting practical sessions
  • Confidentiality in all activities of the laboratory
  • Any other duties assigned by the division.

The eligible candidates for the below mentioned contractual posts will be
required to make a powerpoint presentation of 15 minutes duration (on the topic of their field in line with the post they applied for) and it will be followed by interview. All the candidates should carry the presentation (in Pen drive) to attend the walk-in-interview.

Note: The candidates attending the walk-in-interview should present themselves for certificate verification at the same venue by 9.00 a.m. on the dates mentioned in the notification. The candidates are directed to bring all the relevant original documents pertaining to educational qualifications, experience, research, training, projects, testimonials, etc., along with a set of self-attested photocopies and a recent passport size photograph, for necessary certificate verification. It may be noted that the production of the above said documents is mandatory. Failure to bring the same will render ineligible to attend PPT & Interview. No separate call letter for the PPT & Interview shall be issued. The position is purely temporary on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project or one year from the date of joining, whichever is earlier. NIPHM will not be held responsible to give regular appointment after expiry of the term. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview
