NIT Raipur Chemistry Recruitment – JRF Salary up to Rs 40,000/- pm
A Walk-in-Interview will be conducted on 02/03/2020 at 11.00 A.M. in the Department of Chemistry, NIT Raipur for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the DST, SERB sponsored research project. Interested and eligible candidates can attend the Walk-in-Interview along with duly filled application form and necessary original certificates.
The requirements of JRF are as follows:
Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
Project Title: “Design and synthesis of biologically relevance fused heterocyclics via C-H activation / Oxidative cyclization / Tandem processes”
Funding Agency: DST, Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India
Tenure of Scheme & Assignment: 3 years (initially for one year) and performance will be reviewed on yearly basis for continuation.
Duration & Emoluments:
Total Three years. For 1st and 2nd Year Salary: Rs.
31,000/- + HRA: Rs. 4,960/- (Total: Rs. 35,960/-) per month and 3rd Year
Salary: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA: Rs. 5,600/- (Total: Rs. 40,600/-) per month
Essential qualifications:
M. Sc (with first division) in Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry / Applied Chemistry /
Analytical Chemistry / Material Sciences / Polymer Sciences / Biosciences / Nanotechnology etc. or another suitable
Note: Selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for Ph.D program at NIT Raipur.

Terms and Conditions:
1. The above position is purely temporary, and continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance and review after each year.
2. Candidates are required to appear for the interview with photocopy of the application form, two passport size photos, curriculum vitae,
testimonials and all relevant original certificates with a one set of self-attested photocopies of the certificates.
3. No TA/DA is permissible for appearing for interview.
4. Selected candidates will not be permitted to claim for any regular/part time appointments in this institute or any other institutes during this period.
5. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature and the appointment shall be co-terminus with the project.
