Applications are invited from Indian nationals only for Junior Research Fellow position as per the details given below for the CSIR project under the supervision of Dr. K. R. Justin Thomas, Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Check out all the details on the same below:

Title of project: ENABLING ORGANIC MATERIALS TO HARVEST TRIPLET EXCITONS IN ORGANIC LIGHT-EMITTING DIODES

Sponsor of the project: CSIR, New Delhi

Project position(s) and number: Junior Research Fellow

Qualifications: JRF M.Sc. in chemistry with minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6.00 on a 10 point scale or 60% marks for General (UR) category. For SC/ST or PwD candidates the minimum CGPA requirements may be relaxed to 5.50 on a 10 point scale or to 55% marks. In addition, NET or GATE qualification. Other eligibility conditions for Ph.D. admission to IIT Roorkee is also required.

Upper age limit for JRF is 28 years. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.

Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- pm.

Duration: up to March 31, 2022

Job description: To qesign and synthesize organic emitters

suitable for harvesting triplet excitons in organic light-emitting diodes.

• Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
• Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
  Selected candidate may get an opportunity for Ph.D. admission in the institute.

The interview will be held at HOD Office, Department of Chemistry, IIT Roorkee on 14-02-2020 at 11.30 AM .
