NIT Patna Chemistry Jobs – Research Fellow post Vacancy
A Walk-in-Interview will be conducted at the Department of Chemistry, NIT Patna for the requirement of 1(one) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the DST Research project (SERB) at Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology Patna. Checkout all the details on the same below:

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
Eligibility: MSc in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Medicinal
Chemistry / Material Sciences/ Polymer Sciences / Biosciences / Nanotechnology etc. or
other suitable branches. Preference will be given subject to relevance to project work. A valid
GATE/ NET score is mandatory.
Duration & emoluments: Three years. For 1st and 2nd Year Salary: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA:
Rs. 4,960/- (Total: Rs. 35,960/-) per month and 3rd Year Salary: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA: Rs.
5,600/- (Total: Rs. 40,600/-) per month.

Important information:
a. JRF can registrar in a PhD program through the regular selection procedure of the
Institute.
b. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
c. Candidates may attend the walk-in-interview on 28th January 2020 and advise to report
at least 30mins before the interview process for document verification.
d. Candidates have to bring all original certificates and 2 sets of their respective
photocopies, along with 2 passport-size photos at the time of the interview.
e. Age relaxation for OBC/SC/ST/PH/Women candidates is as per the SERB-DST, GOI
and Institute rules, as applicable.
f. No-objection certificate has to be submitted in case candidates are employed in other
places.
