Advertisement for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Project Assistant (PA) in
a DST-SERB funded research project at the Department of Chemistry, Dibrugarh

Applications are invited for a temporary position (01 No) of JRF/ PA for a DST-SERB funded
project entitled “Design and synthesis of electrically conductive metal-organic hybrids: A
promising next-generation conductive materials” at the Department of Chemistry, Dibrugarh
University, Dibrugarh, Assam.

Duration: The duration of the project is 3 years.

Eligibility:

1. JRF @ Rs. 31,000/- per month (First two years), Rs. 35,000/- per month (3rd Year):
NET/GATE qualified with M.Sc. in Chemistry (minimum 60% marks). Age: Maximum 28
years.

2. PA (Fellowship as per DST-SERB norms): M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent degree with 60%
marks.

Age: Maximum 28 years.

Note: The candidate selected for the position of JRF will have the option to register for PhD
program at Dibrugarh University. However, for admission to PhD program at Dibrugarh
University, the candidate must meet certain eligibility requirements and also qualify the written examination (DURAT) (for candidates who have already cleared JRF, DURAT is exempted) and interview.
