Title of The Project Modification of polysaccharides for various commercial applications

Tenure of Project Maximum three years or till the end of project, whichever is earlier
Job Description (in maximum of 100 words)
- The scope of the present Project is to develop, characterize and suitable commercial
applications of some modified polysaccharides (such as guar gum, starch and so on). - This will involve synthesis of functionalized polysaccharides, detailed
characterization analysis of the reagents, and their applications in different fields.
Essential Qualification M. Sc. in Chemistry (Specialization: Organic/Physical) with valid GATE/NET score
Desirable Qualification 1st Class in M. Sc.
Age and Relaxation (if any) 30 years/Age relaxation as per GoI norms
Fellowship Rs. 30000/- per month
Shortlisted candidates will be informed
on the date of interview. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit and as per the requirement of the project. All candidates should make their own arrangements for their stay at Dhanbad if required.
