Job Description
Project Assistant for Organometallics and CatalysisProject:
Title of the Project: Bifunctional Iron Catalysts for Acceptorless Dehydrogenation Reactions: Towards the Development of Environmentally Friendly Catalysts
Duration: 2 Years
Location: Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore
Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry (Specialization in Inorganic Chemistry or Organic Chemistry) with a minimum of 55% marks.
Preference will be given to candidates with NET or GATE Score.
Skillset required: Experience in column chromatography is desirable.
Stipend: Rs. 20000/- per month.
Sponsoring Agency: SERB-DST, Government of India
Work functions of the JRF: The Project Assistant will be required to do full time research related to this specific project, in particular, synthesis and characterization of various metal complexes and applying them for catalysis applications.
