Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the posts of “Junior Research Fellow (JRF)” for a research project entitled ”Center for Research on Environment and Sustainable Technologies”.
Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of posts: 01
Nature and Duration: Temporary post for 3 months.
Salary: Rs. 31,000 pm + HRA
Minimum qualifications: This position requires a post-graduate degree (BS-MS, MSc, M.Tech) Analytical Chemistry, from a recognized University/Institute. The candidate should preferably have a fundamental knowledge of atmospheric aerosols, specifically
aerosol chemistry, its chemical analysis methods and optical characteristics.
Desirable:
● GATE/NET/UGC/CSIR JRF qualification.
● This position will be centered on field sampling and chemical analyses and aerosol
source apportionment. Prior experience in operating instruments such as particulate
matter air sampler, nephelometer, transmissometer, and weather stations are highly
desirable. Experience with performing Mie calculations and coupling in with source
apportionment is an advantage.

Job Profile:
The JRF will actively participate on exploiting aerosol measurements using multivariate models for aerosol source apportionment. This appointment is for a time bound project and the candidates are required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project
