Job Title: Junior Research Fellow(Project)

Name of the Project : ‘Treating malaria by targeting the regulatory mechanism of PfATPase2 and PfATPase8 required to maintain lipid asymmetry in parasite plasma membrane'(GAP-409).
Sponsor of the Project: SERB.
Tenure: 1 year.
Qualification required: M.Sc in Organic Chemistry with 55% marks and NET/GATE or the selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institution such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desirable: Preferably 1 year of research experience in academic /industry. Hands-on experimental work in molecular biology and biochemistry, good knowledge in lipid biology.
Age Limit: 28 Years.
Stipend : Rs.31,000 plus 24% HRA.
Terms & Conditions : The engagement is purely temporary and, therefore, does not confer any right / claim
implicit or explicit for regularization or absorption against any IICB / CSIR post. The age and qualifications will be reckoned as on the date of interview. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC / ST / OBC / PH and women candidates as per rules.
