The Department of Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry Section), Jadavpur University is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the position of Research Staff to work in DST-INSPIRE sponsored research project entitled “Photochemical hydrogen production with nanoporous materials” under the supervision of Dr. Asamanjoy Bhunia (P.I.). Essential qualifications Candidates should complete M.Sc degree in Chemistry
Other Benefits The selected candidate will be permitted to register for Ph.D.as
per the norms of Jadavpur Univesity.

Desired Skills

1. GATE/NET (Preferable). However, Non-GATE/NET
candidates can also apply.
2. Ability to work in a team, good communication and writing skills.
3. Basic IT skills (MS-office/Chemdraw)

Terms and Conditions:

1. The above position is purely temporary, and continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance and review after each year.
2. Candidates are

required to appear for the interview with photocopy of the application form, curriculum vitae, and all relevant original certificates with a set of self-attested photocopies of the certificates.
3. No TA/DA is permissible for appearing for interview.
4. Selected candidates will not be permitted to claim for any regular/part time appointments in this institute or any other institutes during this period.
