Title of Project: “Understanding the machinery involved in positioning a unique motif
of Helicobacter pylori arginase and its implication to design a novel class of inhibitors” funded by DBT

Principal Investigator: Dr. Apurba K. Sau Staff Scientist-VI ( [email protected] )

Duration: 10.12.2020

Qualification:

M.Sc in Chemical Science with NET or comparable degree as per DST standards with 2 years of research experience.

Emoluments:

The selected applicants will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules,
depending upon credentials & experience

Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 35,000/- per month plus 24% HRA (based on DST OM dated 30.01.2019).

Job Description & Desired Knowledge:

Applicant must have experience in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics.

Conditions:

  • The candidates chosen for the above posts will be on contract for a single year or length of the project whichever is shorter, at a moment.
  • No hostel/ home centre will be supplied.
  • Applicants may clearly mention the class they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach documentary evidence of exactly the same.
  • No TA/DA is going to be compensated for attending the interview if called for.
