Job Title: Chemist
Job Location: Ahmedabad
Qualification:
Essential: Bachelor’s/Masters
Desirable: Science Graduation
in ChemistrySpecialization: Organic Chemistry / Chemistry / Instrumental Chemistry
Key Purpose:
The Title Holder will be responsible for Pesticide residue analysis using high end instruments GCMSMS, LCMSMSM, ICPMS and HPLC/GC for testing of contaminants in Food & Agriculture matrixes, with minimum 3 years of experience.
Required Skills:
- Testing of various Agriculture & food products for chemical testing – mainly GCMSMS & HPLC and wet chemistry, method development, capability development, validation & calibrations etc.
- To work as a team member for maintenance of Quality Management System of Laboratory
- Timely execution of jobs of OI at lab level.
- TAT of lab production
- Maintenance of accreditation
- Through Knowledge chemistry, mainly GCMSMS / HPLC and other instruments.
- Developing new Test parameters according to various methodology.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis of analytical results/six sigma
Other Job Responsibilities:
- Testing of various Chemistry test parameters on instruments like GCMSMS and HPLC.
- Troubleshooting during analysis on instruments
- Work as a team member for maintenance of Quality Management System and accreditation e.g. ISO 17025, EIC, APEDA, OSHAS and according to SGS India QMS.
Validations of test methods & equipment; calibrations of instruments and updating of documentation. - Execution of OI guidelines at local level.
- Participation in PT / ILC programs and Internal QA check programs
- Knowledge of ISO 17025, ICH guidelines, Validation Procedures etc. will be added advantage.
