IACS Kolkata Chemical Science Job Opening 2019
A Walk-in-Interview will be held in the School of Chemical Sciences, IACS on November 6, 2019, at 11.30 AM for the recruitment of one Research Associate-I for a project on Asymmetric Total Synthesis of Bioactive Natural Products and Their Relevant Analogues. Interested candidates with the following qualifications are required to appear along with a full bio-data.
Job Title: Research Associate-I
Essential Qualifications:
Candidates must have
(a) a Ph.D. degree in chemistry in the subarea of organic chemistry and
(b) minimum average marks of 60% in B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree.
Experience : Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in multistep chemical synthesis of complex natural products and their characterization using various modern spectroscopic techniques.
No. of post: One (1)
Duration: Initially for 6 months which may be extendible up to 1 year based on satisfactory performance.
Age limit: 34 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rule.
Emoluments: As per rules of the Association.
The post is purely temporary and it would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any attending the interview. No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.
Note: PhD certificate (original/provisional) is mandatory to produce during the interview.
