Qualification:

Technical Qualification: B.Sc. Chemistry or B. Pharma, Management Degree or Diploma, MSc. Chemistry, B.Tech

Skills (Certification/s): SAP awareness, Computer savvy

Purpose of the position:

Responsible for executing the production Plan, Maintenance improvement & control Production processes effectively with Safety, Quality & Productivity in mind & aligning with Global & Asia Pacific Supply Chain initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance in Production activities.
• Adherence to Schedule M, Schedule U and related part of The Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 for the production of Cosmetic products.
• Maintenance improvement projects execution on shoploor
• Supervise employees in the production & Manufacturing area to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
• Lead from front to ensure safe behavior /GMP culture on the shop floor.
• Ensure production of Quality & cost-effective products, as per the plan.
• Focused approach towards OEE/PA/MPS and financial yield by optimum utilization of the available resources & waste reduction.
• Close Monitoring of various processes, develop, update and maintain documents for compliance to HSE & Quality Systems.
• Complete batch manufacturing records on time to make it a live document, coupled with On-time SAP transaction.
• Ensure GDP in all GMP related documents.
• Implement Mistake proofing & Lean Culture in Manufacturing by learning various Lean techniques, Gemba Walk/ Process confirmation on regular basis, working on Future
• VSM & Implementing KanBan, Visual factory & Reinforcing 5S Culture.
• Participate in Plant level Validations (Equipment & Process) &Support QA/TA in handling of Quality System tools like Deviation /non-conformance management,
• OOS/OOT Management, CAPA, Change Control process & Market complaints etc.
• Personal Involvement to Support ME 2/OAC initiatives to ensure/enhance machine and process reliability.
• Coordinate with Production Manager in matter of personnel allocation, delivery dates and internal kick off meetings and analyzing various issues.
• Identify training needs for all employees & training them accordingly.
• Work with cross-functional team to meet the departmental Goals & Objectives.
