Applications are invited through email for the post of Research Associate-1 (RA-1) under the CSIR sponsored project entitled “Programming Macromolecular Assembly by Directional Dipole-dipole Interaction” (grant No. 02(0360)/19/EMR-II) in the group of Dr. Anindita Das, School of Applied and Interdisciplinary Sciences at IACS by 30.9.19.

Essential Qualification
A candidate should have a first-class or a high second class B.Sc. & M.Sc. degree in Chemistry with minimum average marks of 55%. A candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in any field of Organic/Supramolecular/ Polymer Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute with overall good academic record and impressive publication list. Expertise in polymeric/supramolecular soft materials, biomaterials, crystal structure analysis will be preferred.
Fellowship: As per CSIR rule
Tenure of Fellowship
Initially for one year from the date of joining which may be extended till the end of the project tenure subject to the satisfactory performance as
assessed by the duly constituted project monitoring committeeAge limit
Maximum 35 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. Rule
The position is purely on temporary basis and the candidate will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any post in the Institute.
