Job Title: Chemical Distribution Contract Lead

Location: Bengaluru, KA, IN

Job Role Summary

This position will drive value, efficiency and expanded market advantage for Cylinder Gas for Asia- Pacific Refinery, Chemical and Production Sites via end-to-end category management while ensuring operational integrity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support Cylinder Gas for Asia- Pacific Refinery, Chemical and Production Sites
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of agreements within a category
• Process execution, full compliance with internal controls
• Support Category Specialist in the development and implementation of Category strategic and commercial guidance
• Steward tactical Client relationship for key portfolio activities
• Support supplier relationship management
• Identify Value Generation and agreement rationalization opportunities within the portfolio
• Ensure transactional efficiency of agreements in SAP system
• Assist with troubleshooting invoicing and Purchase Orders
• Maintain Buysmart Cylinder Gas Catalog
• Actively contribute in Category networks and use of category planning sites

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering from a recognized university scoring GPA 6 and above
• Minimum three years of procurement work experience Category expertise
• Procurement / commercial functional expertise
• Effective negotiation, advocacy and influencing skills Project planning/execution skills
• Knowledge of Purchase to Pay (PtP) process including SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Flexible to work in shifts
