Job Description:

• Primary roles include providing support in analytical method development and validation for various testing for novel molecules
• Provide routine analytical support for samples of NCEs/intermediates and use knowledge and experiences to conduct data collection, interpretation and documentation
• Thorough knowledge and prior experience in handling of upgraded analytical instrument, like, HPLC (Analytical/Preparative), SFC (Analytical/Preparative), LCMS, NMR, etc.
• Hands-on experience with LCMS, HPLC and SFC is a must.
• Hands-on experience in conducting 2D-NMR experiments (COSY, HSQC, HMQC, HMBC, NOESY, etc.); and hetero-nuclear coupling experiments (1H – 31P, 1H – 19F, etc.) is added advantage. Also, should have expertise in data reporting and data interpretation of the above experiments to help elucidating the chemical structures
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of basic troubleshooting of the analytical instruments and ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment
• Provide support in project management with contract manufacturing and external testing facilities as and when needed. (Responsibilities may include: vendor evaluation/price negotiation, data verification, managing conflicts, data compilation and reporting to the respective internal stakeholder)
• Maintain laboratory notebooks/other records in easily retrievable manner
• Expert-level knowledge of modern techniques and best industrial practices related to the analytical research along with basic understanding of the drug discovery strategies
• Manage inventory, ordering of laboratory supplies and equipment
• Admirable communication skills to share knowledge and promote cross-functional teamwork
• Knowledge and skills to support writing/reviewing of specifications, management of research protocols, SOPs in support of various drug discovery assignments
